Despite the economy, The Chateau has continued to invest in renovations that include new landscaping, new windows, residing the Main building with cedar shingles, and installation of central air in the hallways and common areas in the main building.
All 37 of our guestrooms and suites now have at least one 32 inch or larger Sony LCD with many Suites having two that are 40 inches or larger.
The Chateau has continued to become more green with installation of water and energy saving technologies, laundry equipment, environmentally safe chemicals, recycling program and guest participation.
 Whisper's Restaurant is one of the Jersey Shore Area's highest rated Restaurants and is located just ashort stroll from the Chateau.
A recent Zagat Survey comments that Whispers is "an oasis of elegance" with "a mecca of gourmet treats" in the form of this "serene" New American BYO, which specializes in "memorable" meals enhanced by "polished" servers and "consistently excellent" preparations.
 Island Palm Grille Restaurant is located right on main street and is a favorite for lunch or dinner. Chateau guests will enjoy the wonderful flavors as well as the atmosphere and friendly staff making it a top family friendly place to dine for great food.
